Circa 1920

The 1920's certainly was a time of great design.  I love many different movements in design and for me, the time period between the Edwardian, Arts and Crafts, and Art Deco all overlap to some extent.  While one can see some pieces that are distinctly within a time period, I do like to see how they are inspired by each other.  One maybe leaving a period and one entering a period.... So to speak.

With all the interest in period pieces like Downton Abbey and (this is a getting a little ahead of my current thought) Mad Men, you will see in each how fashion and design start evolving and overlapping.

So, with all this being said, I hope to start showing some examples on many different eras.
