Two New Listings on Etsy

I've listed a beautiful pair of Victorian Turquoise Earrings.  Turquoise from this time period is coveted by many collectors.  They have been appraised as well.  The other listing is a necklace and earring set from the Art Deco era.  Brilliant Blue Chalcedony and Marcasite.

I love Oscar (From an Original Post in 2010) We'll miss you!

I have always loved the design of Oscar de la Renta.  Here are some beautiful pieces from the Spring 2011 Collection.  His designs are so very pretty and feminine. While this may sound odd,  I love how his pieces aren't ridiculous.  His designs are pure to me... Seems like that a lot of designers and the fashion industry just try to be "edgy" Thus, the look of trying too hard.  Definitely some of his pieces are not main stream, but you can see real inspiration and flow.  Of course fashion is Art and in the eyes of the beholder.
