Pink is Lovely.... so are cherry blossoms

I was enjoying the current issue of Martha Stewart Weddings Magazine over the weekend and really loved seeing the infusion of pink and the section dedicated to the Cherry Blossom. Check out the "Pretty in Pink" Issue!

I thought I would share some of those beautiful photos as well as a some pink inspiration from Camellia Vintage Collections.

My "Pink" Photo Shoot this Saturday. The Arts and Crafts era Pink Rose Quartz Necklace is available in my Etsy store. The shoes are on loan for display. I date them from around 1910-1915. They were made in Paris for a shoe store in London, England. They are so amazing, I feel very fortunate to be able to use them for display. Thank you Laura!

Colored Gems

I adore colored gemstones...I love diamonds too. On a rainy stormy day like today, I felt like shooting some pictures of my gemstone rings. Here they are photographed against the lovely back drop of a vintage French provincial plate. I have a set of 5. All of birds. I took some photos of those today as well. They are amazing.

All the rings are on my Etsy site.

Natural Columbian Emerald and natural sapphires. All are paired with diamonds... So, I guess I didn't leave the diamonds out!

Frida Kahlo Inspiration

These lovely photos and styling are in the Spring/Summer 2010 issue of Seattle Bride Magazine. I am inspired! The bright colors of the floral head pieces in contrast to the white gowns. Of course I love seeing the vintage jewelry. The pairing is unexpected, "un-bridal", and divine.

The Jewelry is from a lovely Store, "Isadora's" in Seattle.

The very pretty "Voila" trumpet gown by Amy Kuschel. From Something Blue Boutique.

Kathlin Argiro hair flower from Calla Bridal.
